One job your team hates.
Fixed in two weeks.

I set up AI inside the tools you already pay for, so your office spends less time on paperwork and more time on the work that pays. A person still approves anything that goes out the door.

AI drafts. You approve.

01 / Who it’s for

Owner-led businesses with a busy front office.

The best fit is a business with 10 to 50 people, two to six of them handling quotes, intake, scheduling or job paperwork, in software you already pay for. Print and sign shops, trades with an office, dealers and distributors.

Signs it’s time

  • Your office manager is leaving, and the know-how is leaving with them.
  • You’re adding a crew, a truck or a location.
  • Quotes are going out slower than customers expect.
  • You’re still doing paperwork at night.

02 / Jobs I can fix

The paperwork behind the work.

A few examples by trade. Each one drafts the work inside the tools you already use, and a person on your team approves it. On the free call we pick the one that costs you the most time.

Print, sign and promo

Print shops, sign shops, promotional products

  • Quote requests by email turned into a drafted job ticket
  • “Same as last time” reorders matched to the past job
  • Artwork and proof follow-ups drafted when a customer goes quiet

Trades with an office

HVAC, plumbing, electrical, cleaning

  • Service requests from email or your web form turned into a drafted work order
  • Follow-ups drafted for estimates that haven’t been signed
  • Tech notes turned into a clean job summary for the invoice

Dealers and distributors

Equipment, parts, wholesale

  • Emailed orders and POs drafted into your system for review
  • Supplier confirmations checked against your PO, with mismatches flagged
  • Routine customer emails sorted, with replies drafted

03 / What “a person approves” means

The AI drafts. You decide.

Here’s the kind of thing I show on the free call: a messy customer email turned into a clean draft that waits for your OK. Pick the one closest to your business. These are made-up samples.

04 / How it works

Small steps. Real results.

  1. Free · 30 minutes

Walk me through five recent jobs.

You show me where the back-and-forth got annoying. I tell you the one job I’d fix first, or tell you if your software already solves it.

  2. Two weeks · $3,000

One job fixed, measured and handed over.

I set it up inside the tools you already own, measure how long it took before and after, check what you pay for every month, and give you a ranked plan for the next three.

  3. Optional · monthly

Keep going, one improvement a month.

If the first fix earns its keep, I ship one improvement every month and send you a short report on the hours it gave back.

Two-Week Fix

$3,000 fixed

$2,000 for my first two clients

Start with a free call
  • One workflow fixed and running in two weeks
  • Before-and-after numbers from your own systems
  • A ranked plan for the next three jobs
  • A subscription check: overlaps, unused seats and what to cancel
  • A one-page AI-use policy template for your team

What if it doesn’t work?

The fix is the deliverable, not a report. At the handover I show it running in your own tools, and that’s when the second half is due. If the free call shows your software already handles the job, I’ll tell you before you’ve paid anything. And everything I set up comes with a one-page manual fallback, so your team can always do the job the old way.

After the Two-Week Fix, only if you want more

Steady · $2,500 a month. One improvement shipped every month, with a monthly hours-returned report. Limited to three businesses at a time.

Care Plan · from $250 a month. Monitoring and fixes for anything I set up that keeps running.

The fine print, in plain English
Payment
Half when we start, half at the handover.
When the two weeks start
When I have your intake answers and the data exports we agree on.
Steady terms
Three months to start, then month to month with 30 days’ notice. Every request answered within one business day, with work done in a fixed weekly slot. Up to 12 hours of work a month, calls included. Unused time up to a quarter of that carries into the next month only.
Care Plan
Watch is $250 a month: monitoring, a monthly test run, updates when your tools change and fixes within two business days. Tend is $500 a month and adds three hours of tuning.
Credit toward Steady
If you start Steady within 30 days of the handover, $1,000 comes off your third month. (Not combined with the first-client price.)
Who owns what
Everything runs in your accounts. You own your data and what I build for you.
What I won’t do
Send messages or move money without a person approving. Take on a project meant to cut staff.

06 / What it costs you today

What that job costs you.

A rough number: the hours one job takes, times what those hours cost. It isn’t a promise of savings. We measure the real numbers in the Two-Week Fix, where I also check which subscriptions overlap or go unused.

Your numbers stay in your browser.

Jake Bowser

Founder, Ethoic Inc

I co-founded Aila, an AI workflow company for mortgage and real estate professionals. It processed over 30,000 call transcripts and ended in an equity exit. Today I build Ethoic’s own tools: I run my own AI on my own hardware, and I publish open-source security tools.

I keep the practice small on purpose. I take on no more than three ongoing clients, so the person you talk to is the person doing the work. If you start now, you’d be one of my first, and that’s why the first step is two fixed-price weeks, not a long contract.

08 / Questions

Fair questions.

My software already has AI. Why do I need you?

Sometimes you don’t, and I’ll tell you on the free call. I only charge for the setup that’s specific to how your business works.

What if the AI gets something wrong?

It drafts and a person approves. Nothing customer-facing goes out without someone on your team signing off, and nothing I set up pays, refunds or changes bank details. Everything also comes with a one-page manual fallback your team has practiced.

Where does my data go, and who owns what you build?

It stays in your systems and in business AI accounts you own, and my access is limited and easy to remove. I don’t put your customers’ data in personal accounts, and you get a written AI-use policy template for your staff. Everything I set up lives in your accounts and is written down, so your team can keep running it or hand it to someone else.

Can you get me off Wix or Squarespace?

Often, yes. If a site builder costs you more than it gives back, I can move your site to hosting you own, set up redirects so your existing links keep working, and look after it on a Care Plan. I’ll show you the yearly cost both ways first, and tell you if staying put is the better deal.
